In this episode, Srinath talks to Dr. Pooja Sagvekar, a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Heart and Lungs Research, who wrote her doctoral dissertation on epigenetic factors in Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Pooja talks about the diagnosis of the disorder, its symptoms and their treatment, as well as triggering environmental factors. Together, they discuss the lack of awareness of PCOS among the general public and the stigma associated with it.
